This Recipe Is Bananas! Literally!: Banana Bread (Recipe included)

Baking could be intimidating for most people because they get scared of what comes out after the oven timer sets off.
“Once the batter is in the oven, there is no turning back.”
As this may be true, there is always a way of saving your batter even before it goes into the oven.
This Banana Bread recipe I’ll be sharing with you guys is just a simple muffin method. Meaning you just mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and fold in carefully. Important note here is to NOT overmix the batter. Then you’ll have fluffy and moist bread to munch on to after all your hard work! (There you go! That’s the secret right there!


Shall we get started with the recipe? You will need to gather these ingredients:


BANANA BREAD.
Serves 10–12 slices.

  • Dry ingredients:
  • 125g All-purpose Flour
    4g Baking soda
  • Wet ingredients:
  • 67g Milk
    5mL Vinegar
    67g Vegetable oil
    27g Egg
    100g Brown sugar
    25g White sugar
    1g Salt
  • 125g Mashed bananas
  • 30g Chocolate chips
  1. 1.  Preheat your oven to 350F. Prepare a greased loaf tin.
  2. 2.  Mix together your milk and vinegar first, until it curdles. About 10 minutes.
  3. 3.  In a different bowl, sift your all purpose flour and baking soda to rid of the clumps.
  4. 4.  Once milk curdles, add in oil, egg, brown & white sugar, salt.
  5. 5.  Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients, fold in gently. Mixture should be lumpy.
  6. 6.  Add in your mashed bananas and chocolate chips when batter is almost fully incorporated.
  7. 7.  Pour your batter into the greased loaf tin.
  8. 8.  Bake at 350F for 30–35 minutes.
  9. 9.  Let it rest and cool on a wire rack to set its bread’s shape.
  10. 10.  Enjoy!
